Walking Safaris
Chichele Presidential · Puku Ridge · Lolebezi · Lolelunga Private Reserve
The walking safari was born in Zambia, and stepping into the bush on foot remains the purest way to meet it. With an expert armed guide leading the way, the wilderness opens at eye level — tracks, birdsong and the small details a vehicle passes by.
Walks are paced gently and shaped around what the bush is doing, from short morning excursions to a full immersion in the wild.

Birding Safaris
Lolelunga Private Reserve
Lolelunga holds an extraordinary variety of birdlife. Some announce themselves loudly and others take a little more patience to find.
Boasting over 340 bird species, including Zambia's national bird, the Fish Eagle, whose haunting call is one of the most iconic sounds of the African bush.
The birdlife along the river is prolific and includes crested eagles, the Pel's fishing owl and many species of kingfishers. Birders can also expect to see Ross's & Schalow's Turaco, orange-breasted bushshrike, African darters, reed cormorants, and migratory birds like the spur-winged goose and saddle-billed stork. The bar-winged weaver, narina trogon, and various birds of prey add to the diversity and thrill of bird safaris at Lolelunga.
