Game Drives

Track elephant, lion and wild dog through the Lower Zambezi's winterthorn forests and river channels.

The Lower Zambezi's game country runs right to Lolebezi's doorstep: winterthorn groves, braided channels and floodplain that hold elephant in numbers few places can match. Drives run at dawn and dusk, with night drives revealing the park's other cast — civet, genet, and lion on the move.

Vehicles are open and the guiding is unhurried; the river is never far, and many drives end at the water's edge with the day's last light.
